The European Union's Ambassador to India, along with the envoy of France and the Egyptian Embassy, offered condolences on the loss of lives at the blast which took place near the iconic Red Fort in the national capital on Monday evening.
Political leaders across the country have expressed shock and sadness over the high-intensity blast near Delhi's historic Red Fort that took place on Monday evening, leaving at least eight people dead and many others injured.
In a post on X, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said, "The car blast in Delhi is shocking and distressing. I offer my deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured."

Simultaneously, meetings were organised at around 33,000 Fair Price Shops across Assam, attended by Ministers, MLAs, local dignitaries, and beneficiaries. The central event in Guwahati was broadcast live to these locations.
