Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a condolence message on Wednesday to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi following a deadly stampede in Uin Uttar Pradesh's Hathras which claimed the lives of 121 people.
As proceedings of Rajya Sabha began this morning, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhhar offered condolences on the loss of lives in the stampede in Hathras in Uttar Pradesh.
"It is a very painful incident. We are saddened by this incident. The Uttar Pradesh government and administration are fully responsible for this incident. The loss of lives in this incident is due to the negligence of the government", Yadav said while speaking to reporters in Delhi.
