Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday announced the second list of candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha Biennial Elections to be held in various states.
According to the ECP schedule, January 12 was the last date for the withdrawal of candidature and publication of the revised list of candidates. However, it was delayed due to litigation.
"The Lok Sabha Election Committee meeting will be held at Indira Bhavan on January 19 and it will be attended by observers from Delhi. The list of potential candidates given by the district in-charge ministers will be discussed during the meeting as the list of candidates needs to be finalis
The top electoral body will issue the list of candidates on January 11, with candidates having the option to withdraw until January 12, i.e., before the ECP allots electoral symbols on January 13.

According to BJP's fifth list of candidates, Anshumaan Singh Bhati has been fielded from Kolayat, Gopal Sharma has been fielded from Civil Lines, and Prahlad Gunjal will be fighting from Kota North.
The party has named two candidates in its fourth list, including Ram Niwas Meena from the Todabhim (ST) constituency and Swaroop Singh Khara from the Sheo constituency.
