Pillai was arrested late on Monday night following his day-long questioning by the ED officials in the case here in the national capital. The agency has so far arrested 11 persons in the case.

The Rouse Avenue Court on Monday granted bail to Hyderabad-based chartered accountant Butchibabu Gorantla, arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam.
He was arrested by the investigative agency in a case pertaining to alleged irregularities in the framing and implementation of the excise policy of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD).
Sisodia was arrested last Sunday in an ongoing investigation of a case related to alleged irregularities in the framing and implementation of the excise policy of GNCTD.
The Commission also has alleged that the misuse of the minor children is done to "divert" the attention and "favour" former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia who is accused in the alleged excise policy scams.
"The gang was running a fake currency racket and were trying to bring in fake currencies from Ludhiana to spend it on liquor shops here in Indore," the police said.
The Rouse Avenue Court on Saturday sought a response from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on a bail plea moved by Raghav Magunta, son of YSR Congress Party MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, in Delhi excise policy money laundering case.
Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on Sunday last for alleged irregularities in the framing and implementation of Delhi's new excise policy. The policy was withdrawn amid allegations of foul play by the Opposition.
