Amid the dramatic arrest of AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Singh, in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case, party workers and his followers on Wednesday gathered outside his residence in the national capital, chanting slogans in his support.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked why "a political party" has not been made an accused in matters pertaining to liquor policy irregularities as "a political party" is alleged to have benefitted from it.
"They have done the work of fooling people. They had come to lead ordinary lives but now they are being immersed in corruption to such an extent that they are giving one bottle (of liquor) free with another," Dushyant Gautam said.
The Supreme Court adjourned on Friday to October 4 for hearing on the bail plea of Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia in a matter connected with liquor policy irregularities.
The Supreme Court on Friday refused to give any interim relief to Manish Sisodia as it listed his plea seeking interim and regular bail plea on week commencing from September 4.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has opposed Manish Sisodia's bail plea and urged the Supreme Court to dismiss it. The CBI told the SC that Manish Sisodia is the kingpin and architect of the conspiracy connected with the liquor policy irregularities case.

The Court also dismissed the bail petitions of Vijay Nair, ex-communication in charge of Aam Aadmi Party, Abhishek Boinpally (Hyderabad Based Businessman), Binoy Babu Binoy, (manager with a liquor company Pernod Ricard) in connection with the same case.
The Rouse Avenue Court on Friday dismissed the bail petitions moved by Delhi-based businessman Amandeep Singh Dhall in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) cases related to the Liquor policy case.
