Having secured the mega 156 Light Combat Helicopter deal for the Indian Army and Air Force, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is looking to outsource work worth around Rs 25,000 crore to the private sector firms.
The Cabinet Committee on Security on Friday gave its nod for the deal to buy 156 Light Combat Helicopters worth over Rs 62,000 crore for the Indian Army and Air Force from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.
According to HAL, the board has proposed a final dividend of Rs 13 per equity share, each with a face value of Rs 5, marking a substantial 260 per cent payout for the financial year 2023-24.
