Lauding Centre's infrastructure push, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday said that the union territory stands as one of the developed states in the country.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited Pahalgam and interacted with the residents, tourists and shopkeepers at the main market on Sunday, a statement said.
"Discussed the matter relating to exam centres for the scheduled Common University Entrance Test (CUET) with Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan and requested for CUET centres in J-K UT. He has assured that the issue will be addressed on priority," J-K LG Sinha said.
