According to the release, Delhi LG, V.K. Saxena had written to Chief Minsiter Arvind Kejriwal, after his visit to the Wazirabad Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and its feeder Pondage area on March 9, flagging the pathetic and unhygienic conditions at the site.
Atishi said, "As expected, LG is again being selective and dishonest in appropriating the credit for solving a problem, which he created in the first place."
Responding to the allegations of Atishi, LG Saxena said, "False and misleading statements are made by the Power Minister. The file regarding power subsidy was approved and signed in the late hours of Thursday and sent to CM Kejriwal on Friday, before Power Minister Atishi's Press Conference.
In response to Atisi's letter, LG V.K. Saxena said "Again misleading and false statements are being made by/ on behalf of the Power Minister. A request has been recieved today from her office at 12:26 PM and is under active consideration."
