Targeting the Centre over the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other BJP leaders should walk from Jammu to Lal Chowk if the situation is so good in the Union Territory.
He questioned the hoisting of the tricolour by Rahul Gandhi at Lal Chowk in Kashmir and said that Rahul Gandhi does not know how to respect the tricolour. "Where he unfurled the tricolour, his own cut-out picture was placed higher than the tricolour," said the Deputy CM.
Congress had earlier planned to hoist the national flag at the PCC Office on Monday to mark the end of Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Bharat Jodo Yatra, which started in Kanyakumari on September 7, will conclude on January 30 in Srinagar after covering 3,970 km, 12 states, and two Union territories.
