Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday said that a four-member team from the State will visit Tamil Nadu to take stock of the attack on migrant labourers incident.
Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare and Skill Development Minister CV Ganesan said that there is no truth in news on social media that labours from north India are being attacked in parts of Tamil Nadu and assured that appropriate action will be taken against those spreading such news.
Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) JS Gangwar on Friday informed that the Tamil Nadu Police has said that videos circulating on social media showing alleged attacks on migrant labourers in the state were "false" and "misleading".
Three labourers and a child died after they came under a Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) truck on Rohtak road, near Delhi's Anand Parbat area, in the early morning on Saturday, informed the police.
He further slammed those who ask what Congress has done in 70 years and said the grand old party gave voting rights to all citizens at a time when most of the nations did not have such provisions.

As many as labourers reportedly died due to suffocation while they were engaged in the removal of oil sludge in an edible oil tanker on Thursday in Andhra Pradesh's Kakinada district.
"Three workers of Hero Motors Company were killed, and one other died during medical treatment after they were hit by a bus from the Noida Depot under Badalpur Police Station area. The bus has been seized and a search operation is underway to nab the accused bus driver, police said.
