Jharkhand Mukti Morch (JMM) leader Kunal Sarangi on Monday commented on the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) defeat in the recent assembly elections, stating that the issues raised by the BJP were irrelevant and failed to resonate with people.
In response to several BJP leaders, including Dr Lois Marandi and Kunal Sarangi, leaving the party to join the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Jharkhand BJP spokesperson Pratul Shah Deo described them as "dejected and rejected" individuals seeking opportunities elsewhere.
Speaking to ANI, after joining JMM, former BJP Vice President Dr Lois Marandi said that she did not want to contest the assembly polls from Barhait as she gave 24 years to Dumka, however the BJP did not listened to her.
