After the meeting, Minister Uttam Reddy said they held a detailed discussion with the Union Minister on many issues, including the pending development projects in the state and the issue of Krishna River water.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Sunday accused BRS President and former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao of betraying the people in the water-sharing of Krishna and Godavari.
"So far 85.81 TMC of water has been supplied to Ayakattu from Prakasam Barrage. Due to the lack of flow in the Krishna River, water is being taken from the Pattiseema lifting scheme and Pulichintala project," a release from the Chief Minister's Office said.
