China sends military aircraft, 3 ships around Taiwan despite typhoon Koinu

As Typhoon Koinu's storm encircled majority of the country between 6 a.m. Wednesday (Oct. 4) and 6 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 5), Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence (MND) tracked one Chinese military aircraft and three navy vessels throughout the nation, Taiwan News reported.
