The Supreme Court on Tuesday agreed to hear a plea seeking direction to appoint a five-member expert committee under the supervision of a retired Supreme Court judge to enquire into the Hathras stampede incident where more than 100 people were killed on July 2.
Two other persons who sustained injuries in the incident have been admitted to the Sivakasi government hospital for treatment, the Fire Department said.
Four people were killed and 12 others were injured on Tuesday morning when a bus they were travelling in collided with a vehicle in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi, police said.
