A suicide bomber targeted a police checkpoint in North Waziristan close to the Afghan border on Wednesday, killing four people, including two soldiers and a police officer, Dawn reported citing the district administration.

The accused has been identified as B. Chandra Mohan (48).
Police said that the accused Chandra Mohan had killed the deceased Anuradha Reddy by stabbing her and later cutting her body into some pieces for disposal.
A quarrel between children turned into a bloody fight in Karachi when two persons were killed and two others sustained injuries in Karachi on Tuesday, ARY News reported.
"7 people died, 1 critically injured. The injured is being shifted to District Hospital Kishtwa," said Deputy Commissioner of Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav.
"Due to rain and a storm, a 200-year-old tree fell in the Jwalapur area and many people got buried under it. All four people have been rescued and sent to a govt hospital. A tourist from Sonipat died after a tree fell on him near Chamgadar Tapu," said Ajay Singh, SSP Haridwar
