The Telangana police on Saturday registered a case against more than 50 people in connection with the kidnapping of a woman from her residence in the Adibatla area in Ranga Reddy, police sources said.
The victim's parents have alleged that around a hundred youths had barged into their house and forcibly taken away their 24-year-old daughter, Vaishali.

The victim, identified as Khushi (12) was allegedly abducted by unidentified people from Nandigram police station limits three days ago.
Her family had received a call from the unidentified kidnappers with a demand for ransom.
In a series of tweets in Hindi, Sisodia alleged "BJP's goons in Gujarat kidnapped AAP Surat East candidate Kanchan Jariwala and then forced him to withdraw his nomination after putting pressure on him by the police."
The woman claimed that the child was illegally brought to India by her ex-husband, who is his father, in March, amid the raging armed conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
The family members of the missing person had informed the police that threat message and a symbol of a banned organisation were received from the missing person's phone.
The incident happened in the Katcha area of the Ghotki district when dozens of the criminals stormed a police camp, killing seven police officers and kidnapping 20 others.
