The Indian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and the Consul General featured in the posters held up by the pro-Khalistani protestors during a demonstration outside the Indian High Commission.
After pro-Khalistanis threatened to hold protests outside Indian mission across the United States, the Indian Ambassador to the America, Taranjit Singh Sandhu, on Saturday reached the Indian embassy and inspected the premises and annexe, reviewing the security arrangements.
Around 30-40 Khalistanis gathered outside the Indian High Commission in London on Saturday. This comes at a time when there is a major uptick in attacks by Khalistani extremists not just in the UK but in other countries as well.
Several lawmakers in the United States condemned the attempted arson and violent rhetoric aimed at Indian diplomats, including the Ambassador of India to the United States, Taranjit Singh Sandhu.
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that India has raised the issue of threats to Indian diplomats in London, but it will judge the UK authorities only by what actually happens on the ground.

Reacting to allegations that the Canadian government is soft and reluctant to act against pro-Khalistan gatherings and terrorists in the country, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Canada has "always taken serious action against terrorism and we always will."
"We are trying to take the necessary steps to ensure that the Indian diplomatic community feels safe and secure here. And we'll continue with that work going forward," Campbell, the United States National Security Council's coordinator for Indo-Pacific affairs told ANI.
In light of the attacks by Khalistani extremists in Australia, the Australian High Commission Spokesperson said that the country does not tolerate hate speech or violence.
