The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday issued an arrest warrant against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Khadija Shah in the Askari Tower attack case, following the cancellation of a warrant in the Jinnah House attack case.
Following the completion of her 14-day physical remand, Khadija Shah was presented before the Quetta ATC. The judge, however, ordered her release due to a lack of evidence in the case.
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Monday granted a two-day transitory remand of fashion designer and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) supporter Khadija Shah to Quetta police in a case pertaining to May 9 protests, Dawn reported.
The investigating officer requested the court to give more time to present investigation report (challan) against the suspects. Judge Abher Gul Khan agreed to the request and sent the suspects back to judicial lockup until July 20.
