Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday gave the clarion call for change in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, saying that the states are "ready for change" in governance.
The raids are underway from early morning by the ED's Kochi zonal office teams under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.

The Joint Action Committee on delimitation after the first meeting held today, unanimously adopted the resolution which asserts that "any delimitation exercise carried out by the Centre should be done "transparently" and after discussion and deliberation with all stakeholders.
Six States have adopted a joint resolution seeking the withdrawal of draft UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment and Promotion of Teachers and Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education) Regulations, 2025.
