Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy on Wednesday took a jibe at the ruling TRS in the state and said that the party has "completely become a parasite" and alleged that KCR "could not stand on his own feet in Munugode".
The Telangana Government is giving a pension of around Rs 3,000 to differently-abled people which plays a pivotal role in their cause to face their daily battle for survival.
"The habit of distributing liquor and money is of TRS party. In Huzerabad, I never distributed money or liquor. You can enquire on it. Six times I have become MLA. KCR used to tell that he never distributed money in Siddipet, the same culture continued. However after 2014, it all got changed
"TRS has Kaleswaram project and land grabbings. KCR took Rs 5 lakh crores debts. To build the defunct project he spent Rs 1.5 lakh crore for Kaleswaram Commission project and the remaining money is with him. With that KCR is funding other states and other chief ministers," said BJP leader KV
The BJP and TRS had been going neck-and-neck in the fight for the prized Munugode seat before the latter opened out a lead and eventually cruised home by a slender margin.
Rajender was reacting to the remarks made by the Chief Minister over the alleged poaching attempts by the BJP, in which he alleged that the BJP had "destroyed" the country and also "killed" the democracy in the country.
"KCR is an expert in diverting issues. He plans to divert the liquor allegations against his daughter from the public. The affidavit they produced in court is false. The screenplay and direction were all done by KCR," said BJP state President Bandi Sanjay.
In a statement, BJP spokesperson NV Subhash on Friday strongly criticised Rao for his "baseless" and "unwarranted" comments while speaking to the media against BJP's top leaders and termed him as an actor in "political field" and alleged that he spent crores of rupees to "enact this drama".
Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao released a video from farmhouses where BJP allegedly tried to poach four Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLAs last month.
