Three persons of Katch area of Kandhkot in Pakistan were kidnapped by a gang of bandits, ARY News reported on Saturday, adding that the abductors demanded ransom money for their release.
The police action on the locals, majority of whom are Hindus took place when they were staging a protest on Wednesday against the failure of law enforcement agencies to recover hostages taken by bandits of Katcha areas in Kandhkot.
Also, continuous threats by some gangs of doing more strikes and the video message of an elite police force staffer complaining about poor arrangements, have put a question mark on police's claims.
As per details, the two policemen, Sajjad Jakhrani and Ghaffar, were kidnapped on Saturday when dacoits attacked a police check-post in the Katcha area of Durrani Mehr.
The incident happened in the Katcha area of the Ghotki district when dozens of the criminals stormed a police camp, killing seven police officers and kidnapping 20 others.
