The Indian Army's White Knight Corps official handle posted on X and informed that there were no casualties and a search operation by Army and Jammu and Kashmir police is underway.
"A contraband substance covered in a polythene bag, discovered as brown sugar weighing about 748 gms (worth 1.5 crore rupees) was recovered from his possession during the search," said police.
Ever since the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the central government has been looking at bringing in big-ticket investments in the region which has seen decades-long militancy.
