As India prepares to celebrate its 75th Republic Day on Friday, the Kartavya Path in the national capital is set to be painted with Viksit Bharat's rich cultural diversity, 'Aatmanirbhar' military prowess and growing Nari Shakti, the Defence Ministry said on Thursday.
According to DMRC, the train services will be available at a headway of 30 minutes till 6 am and thereafter, a regular timetable will be followed for the rest of the day.
Speaking to the media in a press conference, Special CP Law and Order Dependra Pathak said, "Delhi Police has made all the necessary arrangements for the Republic Day event. The traffic unit, Security Unit and District Unit have been deployed for the security arrangements."
Speaking to ANI on Republic Day security arrangements, "Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Devesh Kumar Mahla said, "All arrangements are being made to stop any nuisance. Repeated rehearsals and training of the team are being done. Around 8,000 forces have been deployed for the event."

As the country is gearing up for the 75th Republic Day, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said on Wednesday that the metro services will start at 4 am on all its lines to facilitate the public to reach Kartavya Path to witness the ceremony on January 26.
One of the main highlights of this year's Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path will be a spectacular display of sarees from different states and union territories of India in the form of 'Anant Sutra'.
The chairpersons of around 250 beneficiary Primary Agricultural Credit Society (PACS) and their spouses from 24 states and two Union Territories (UTs) across the country will witness the Republic Day Parade 2024 at Kartavya Path as "Special Guest" of the Government of India.
Republic Day parade rehearsals continued to be held in full swing at Kartavya Path in the national capital on Saturday. For the first time in the country, a tri-service contingent will be marching in this year's Republic Day Parade.
The rehearsals started on January 13 and will continue until January 21. The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory for possible routes to avoid, given the dress rehearsals.
