Ahead of the Karnataka Assembly polls, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday said the biggest strength of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is its robust grassroots-level organisation.
Ahead of the Karnataka Assembly polls, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday said there is no example of giving tickets to all the sitting MLAs since every election will be different.
On Wednesday, Karnataka Congress Chief DK Shivakumar exuded confidence that the Basavaraj-led BJP government in Karnataka will not be able to secure more than 65 seats in the elections slated in the state later this year.
In an exclusive interview with ANI, Karnataka CM Basavraj Bommai said that BJP will win the assembly elections in Karnataka with a full majority and the Congress is making false promises to win the polls which will not work.
"Open the BJP manifesto. What have they done for farmers, the electricity, and many other promises made? It is not the duty of government to build temples and mosques," the Congress leader said on Friday.
Terming Congress as a special purpose vehicle for Independence, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said that the party neither had any cultural ideology nor any ideology related to the economy and formation of the nation.
Shah gave examples of providing gas cylinders to the 10 crore women who bore the pain of cooking food for their families in firewood at the cost of their health.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) are dynastic parties and such parties can never work for the welfare of the people.
