Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday assured of more support to the weavers of the State in the coming budget and also promised full assistance to them from raw materials up to technology development.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday instructed officials to establish the mini-textile park in 25 taluks which have the more concentration of weavers population in the coming days.
"Karnataka Chief Minister must resign. It's a clear case of poor work and people have succumbed to it. Now, people of Bengaluru and Karnataka are fed up," Congress MLA Sowmya Reddy said.
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday dismissed the opposition's claim of a state minister's alleged proximity with Santro Ravi, alleged Kingpin of human trafficking and said that a probe into the matter would unravel the links.
"Cabinet expansion will be done soon, I have already conveyed the message to high command and high command will take a decision accordingly soon. I don't know who'll be inducted in the cabinet, the high command will take a decision soon after a meeting," Bommai said.
