An emergency meeting of the Water Resources Department has been called on Friday at Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's residence after the Cauvery Water Control Committee recommended releasing 1 TMC of water to Tamil Nadu every day.
Reacting to diversion of of SC/ST funds matter, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Jagadish Shettar said that CBI must carry out an inquiry into it as it is a serious matter involving names of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his wife Parvathi Siddaramaiah.
Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje alleged that Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was involved in the Valmiki Development Corporation scam and demanded his resignation on Wednesday.
