Congress leader Randeep Surjewala on Saturday hit out at the Union Government after the Ministry of External Affairs denied Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge's request to visit the USA.

Karnataka Minister for Electronics, Information Technology and Biotechnology Priyank Kharge wrote to the External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar seeking clarification over not getting clearance for the visit to the United States.
The operations were conducted at bars and restaurants located under the jurisdictions of Upparpet, Cottonpet, Kalasipalya, Cubbon Park, and Ashoknagar Police Stations.

Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy alleged that corruption and commission "rackets" have crossed all limits in Karnataka under the Congress government here.
Speaking to reporters at his Sadashivanagar residence, he said, "Kumaraswamy had called on his supporters to get ready for a BJP-JDS government. I replied to him then, stating that I would present him with a suit (clothes) if he won the election and formed the government in 2028."
