Delhi's Karkardooma Court on Tuesday reserved order after Defence counsel Mehmood Pracha levelled personal allegations against Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) representing Delhi Police in larger Conspiracy of Delhi riots case.
Acccused was arrested in the case after he surrendered in December 2022. While granting bail to accused, the court noted the fact that no recovery was effected from the accused.
Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Pulastaya Pramachala said that it is amply clear to this
court that all these complaints subsequently clubbed for investigation in present FIR, remained without any effective investigation by the Investigating officer (IO).
The court pulled up the Prosecution and observed, "Prosecution cannot raise presumption on the basis of one old video, to allege that accused was part of riotous mob in all subsequent incidents."
