Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday commended the security forces for their remarkable achievement in neutralizing 30 Naxalites in two separate operations in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur and Kanker districts.
Further, he stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had resolved to eliminate Naxalism by 2047.
The encounter in Bijapur district broke out on Thursday morning during a search operation carried out by security forces in Bijapur district. In a separate operation in Kanker district, four Naxalites were killed during a gunfight near a village.
