Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has slammed Congress party and Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Chief Kamal Nath over his remark while attending Iftar Party in the state.
"How can one (Kamal Nath), who can't value his own party MLAs, value his party leader Rahul Gandhi? He is an accidental leader from the Emergency years. In a democracy, voters send MLAs to the Assembly to give voice to their needs and demands. This remark is an insult to the people," Mishra
Ahead of the party's 'Pujari Prakosth' (priest cell) meeting in Bhopal on Sunday, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) office here has been decked up in saffron.
The incident occurred at Beleshwar Jhulelal Mahadev Temple located at Patel Nagar locality in the city on Thursday when a Havan puja was going on in view of the Ram Navami festival. A total of 36 persons died and 16 people were rescued in the incident.
Shah will reach Aanchal Kund in Harrai block of Chhindwara and meet tribal religious leaders. After that he will address a public gathering at the ground located in the police lines in the district.

Inspector General of Police Rakesh Gupta said, "A complaint was received from the family members that the woman died due to electrocution. Acting on the complaint, the post mortem of the woman was conducted and a case of murder was registered into the matter."

With the Madhya Pradesh government presenting the state budget on Wednesday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president VD Sharma termed it as a pro-farmer budget and accused the previous Congress governments of making farmers defaulters.
