Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar on Wednesday praised the Union Budget 2023 and said that the budget is futuristic, growth-oriented and has laid a strong foundation for India at 100 in 2047.
"People should join hands with government measures and follow precautionary measures. There are about 8.5 lakh doses of covid-19 vaccine available in the state and I urge everyone to get the third dose," Minister Sudhakar said.
"I appeal to the people of Karnataka to take the booster dose at the earliest. People should wear masks, especially in indoor places and maintain social distancing," K Sudhakar said.
Speaking on Covid-19 preparedness of Karnataka, amid fear of a possible fourth outbreak in the country, state Health Minister K Sudhakar Rao on Thursday said an emergency meeting has been called under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Basavraj Bommai to discuss the state's preparedness.<

Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar on Thursday said the government would take appropriate measures to give proper representation to the backward groups within the Vokkaliga community in the state.
Emphasizing on transformation in the healthcare sector, Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar on Saturday said that healthcare should be shifted from doctor-centric to patient-centric and hospital-centric to home-centric.
Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar, said, "This is the first case in the state and the government is monitoring the situation very carefully. Our department is well prepared to handle it".
Speaking at a press conference in Bangalore, Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar said, "Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai will dedicate the Namma clinics on December 14. In the initial phase, 114 clinics will be launched simultaneously across the state."
