The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Upendra Dwivedi concluded his official visit to Australia from February 16-19, advancing India-Australia defence cooperation and deepening strategic alignment between the two nations, as per a statement by the Indian Army.

India and Indonesia on Thursday agreed to deepen the defence cooperation between the two nations by stepping up the maritime security coordination and enhancing collaboration in defence technology.
During the visit, CNS Tripathi also called on the Joint Base Pearl Harbour-Hickam, where he was briefed on the operational capabilities and ongoing initiatives of the US Pacific Fleet and the various units stationed at the joint facility.
He said, "Defence cooperation with Mongolia is composed of two or three initiatives. One is joint exercises. We do a joint exercise called Nomadic Elephant and another one called Khaan Quest with Mongolia. The Mongolians appreciate the opportunity to train with us."
