After the release of 13 hostages in Israel, US President Joe Biden has vowed unwavering commitment to ensuring the return of every hostage to their loved ones.
The Executive Director of the United Nations Children's Fund has named the Gaza Strip as the most dangerous place" in the world to be a child, reports CNN.
The letter was signed by 25 state lawmakers, including state Democrat Representative Abraham Aiyash, who is the majority leader of Michigan state's House chamber.
The ship, partially owned by Israeli businessman Rami Ungar, has no Israeli nationals aboard and was travelling from Turkey to India. Its 25 crew members are being held in Yemen.

Eleven members of the US Congress, in a letter to US State Secretary Antony Blinken, urged the Biden administration to withhold US assistance to Pakistan until the country holds free and fair elections and restores constitutional order, Dawn reported.
Biden also called for Israel to respect humanitarian law and minimise the loss of civilian life, saying he counselled Israeli officials during his trip to Tel Aviv "against letting their hurt and rage mislead them into making mistakes we ourselves have made in the past."
