The visit of Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel to India from April 3- 5 will further strengthen the close bilateral partnership, including economic and development cooperation between the two nations.
The visit of the King of Bhutan is in keeping with the long-standing tradition of regular high-level exchanges between the two countries and during his visit, he will meet President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi.
The day will be celebrated in full swing after three years of COVID-19 restrictions. All 20 Dzongkhags, Bhutan's primary subdivisions, will begin the day with prayers and butter lamp offerings for the long life of His Majesty.
