Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday said that the NDA, under the leadership of the BJP, is certain to win in both Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly polls.
Maharashtra recorded a voter turnout of 6.61 per cent in the single-phase assembly elections while Jharkhand recorded a voter turnout of 12.71 percent in the second phase of assembly elections, as of 9 am, according to the Election Commission of India.
The electoral battle in Deoghar, often referred to as "Baba Nagri", has emerged as a key battleground in the Jharkhand Assembly election, with the contest between BJP's incumbent MLA Narayan Das and Rashtriya Janata Dal's three term Ex MLA Suresh Paswan.
Speaking to ANI, Yadav alleged that the BJP spread hatred against the 'Jaat' community in Haryana, against the 'Sikh' community in Punjab, and against the 'Maratha' community in Maharashtra.
Ahead of the second phase of Jharkhand Assembly polls, BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shah Deo expressed confidence that the BJP would win the elections by two-thirds majority.
Campaign ended on Monday for the Maharashtra and second phase of Jharkhand assembly polls as also 15 assembly bypoll seats with voting due to take place on November 20.
""I just want love and blessings from everyone in the Gandey constituency. I want people to showcase their support for me based on the work I have done here in Gandey in 4-5 months," Kalpana Soren said.
"We have a government in Telangana and we have a government in Karnataka. We are doing a detailed exercise, a public exercise where we are meeting with different stakeholders and we are preparing the questions of the caste census through a public discussion," Rahul Gandhi said.
