According to a statement released by BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, freedom fighters launched a coordinated operation on the evening of May 31, taking over major military, administrative, and financial facilities of the Pakistani state in Surab.
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for 39 coordinated attacks across Balochistan, targeting police stations, military convoys, and key infrastructure, marking a sharp escalation in the region's ongoing conflict.
In a media statement, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch accused Pakistan's military of executing "irresponsible and foolish military aggression", claiming that drone strikes and artillery shelling targeted BLA positions near the hijacked Jaffar Express train.
In a statement, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said that the attack took place in the Behman area, which is located some eight kilometers from Turbat city, at around 5:45 pm (local time).
The Balochistan Post cited Jeeyand Baloch, the spokesperson for the BLA, who advised residents in Mach city and the surrounding areas to stay indoors and avoid highways due to ongoing activities.
