Congress MP Manickam Tagore on Thursday invited a total of 16 political parties to come together with Congress as the "captain" for a "Progressive India" ahead of the 2024 general elections.
According to party sources, the speculation has intensified regarding the Home Minister's visit to Bihar that he may meet Upendra Kushwaha as the former embarked on his three-day visit to Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar on Wednesday.
Shah will be in poll-bound Karnataka on Thursday while on Friday he will be in Madhya Pradesh which is also slated to go for polls at the year-end, and on Saturday Shah will be in Bihar.

Claiming that the JD(U)-RJD deal rumour has created a turmoil within the party, Khuswaha said "Making Tejashwi CM face will lead to the downfall of the party," he added.
Earlier, Kushwaha had written an open letter to party workers and claimed that JDU is getting weaker due to internal reasons. Despite all the efforts, Kushwaha said his concerns were ignored by Chief Minister Kumar and interpreted incorrectly.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said that Janata Dal (United) shall remain unaffected by the entry or exit of a member and that he is least bothered about the party's Parliamentary Board President Upendra Kushwaha after the latter called a separate meeting of the party workers.
