By hoisting tricolour and distributing sweets, the labourers and engineers at the Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya on Tuesday celebrated the 77th Independence Day in charm.
General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Champat Rai on Sunday announced that the the 'pran pratishtha' (consecration) of the Ram idol at the sanctum-sanctorum of the under-construction Ram Temple at Ayodhya will take place between January 15-24 next year.
General Secretary of the Trust, Champat Rai, said that construction work of the Lord Ram Lalla idol has begun and three sculptors are involved in the making of the idol.
In this regard, Champat Rai took to Twitter and said, "Beautiful Statues are being carved on stone, based on stories from our Shastras. They will be later pasted on pillars, base and other designated places in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, as per the construction schedule."
While giving its verdict, the High Court has asked the District Judge of Mathura to pass an order after hearing afresh against the decision of the Civil Judge.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that development projects worth Rs 32,000 crore by the central and state governments for the overall development of Ayodhya are currently underway.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited under construction Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple site in Ayodhya. On reaching Ayodhya Ramkatha helipad CM Yogi was given a guard of honour.
The idol of Lord Ram Lalla will be placed at its original place in the upcoming temple in Ayodhya in the third week of January 2024, said Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri Maharaj on Wednesday.
Speaking to ANI, Apurva Chandra said, "Earlier no one was sure where the Ram temple would be made. Police were standing here earlier but today a temple is being made here. Everyone is waiting for this temple."
Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Secretary Apurva Chandra is set to visit Ayodhya on Thursday. During his tour of the city, Chandra will visit the construction site of Ram Mandir.
