Protestors on Tuesday burnt the effigy of Pakistan Army Chief for harbouring terrorism and targeting people on the basis of their religion in a terror attack of April 22 in Pahalgam of Jammu- Kashmir, which claimed 26 lives.
The candle marches were attended by AAP MLAs, MLA candidates, councillors, Assembly presidents, and a large number of citizens who responded to the party's call to honour the deceased and reaffirm their commitment to the unity and integrity of India.
Speaking to ANI, Baghel emphasised the need for a special session, questioning why it couldn't be convened when leaders of both houses have requested it.

In the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Chief Farooq Abdullah on Monday voiced strong condemnation of Pakistan, emphasising the need for action that prevents such attacks in the future, questioning the effectiveness of past measures.
"I have never seen people come out to protest against an attack like this... people said not in my name," Abdullah said while addressing a special session at the Jammu and Kashmnir legislative assembly today.
Actor Atul Kulkarni, who is currently in Kashmir following the ghastly terror attack that took place in Pahalgam, said it was important for him to visit the region and show support.
