The Indian Army personnel, in a nightlong operation on Sunday, airlifted a pregnant woman from snowbound Tangdhar in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) on Saturday organized a 'cultural exchange programme' at Middle school, Bakura, with the participation of personnel of SSB and youth from adjoining villages.
"A low-intensity avalanche hit Sarbal area where the Hyderabad-based Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited (MEIL)'s workshop was being held," officials said.
