Amid recent successes in bringing down Pakistan Army drones on the western front, the Indian Army is looking to acquire nine more laser based anti drone systems under the emergency procurement powers.
"The number of people who came to attend his funeral shows how much the community valued him. He had been unwell for some time, and today, Jammu and Kashmir grieves a great loss. He was ill for a long time and passed away today. May his soul rest in peace," Abdullah told reporters.
"An incident has come to light wherein certain individuals were allegedly manhandled by Army personnel in Rajouri District (J-K). The Army had input on the likely movement of terrorists in a vehicle in this sensitive area. Accordingly, search operations were being conducted," said the Army.
The Romeo Force of the Indian Army and the Special Operations Group (SOG) continued their joint operation on Thursday for the fourth consecutive day in the forest area of Lasana in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch to trace terrorists believed to be hiding in the region.
"I am not surprised after reading that, as it has been the National Conference's stance that they can do anything for power. It has been going on since 1947 - at times, they wanted to come with India, given that they were in power; if not, they wanted to have a discussion," Mufti said while
Omar Abdullah criticised Dulat, saying he prioritises selling books over truth and humiliated Farooq Abdullah in his latest book, "The Chief Minister and the Spy."
Dulat clarified that his book is an appreciation, not a critique, of Farooq Abdullah's politics. He highlighted Farooq's alleged willingness to work with Delhi and described him as an "ultimate nationalist".
