The Indian army has organised classes for the students of Jammu and Kashmir in an attempt to help them continue with their education amid heavy snowfall in the region.

A landslide has triggered at Rezin, Gagangeer area of Sonamarg in the Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir leading to blockage of the National Highway and damage to three to four houses, a police statement said.
The landslide occurred in around 1 sq km area at Duksar Dalwa, in Sangaldan of Gool Tehsil on the upper side of Ramban-Sangaldan Gool road, the officials said.
