Voting for the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections concluded on Monday across all 49 parliamentary constituencies spanning eight States and Union Territories with a voter turnout of 57.51 per cent.

While Bihar recorded 8.86 per cent voter turnout, Jammu and Kashmir recorded 7.63 per cent, Jharkhand 11.68 per cent, Ladakh 10.51 per cent, Maharashtra 6.33 per cent Odisha 6.87 per cent and West Bengal 15.35 per cent, the poll body said.
Appealing to the Kashmiri Pandit community to vote for her in the Lok Sabha elections, Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday said that she has an idea about the trauma Kashmiri Pandit community had to face in the early 1990 insurgency that led to the mass exodus of the
