Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today at the Chief Minister's residence, as per a press release.
The UAE President strongly condemned the attack and expressed complete solidarity and support with India, the Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs said.
During the meeting, the Minister requested the Governor to take proactive steps to instil some sense of security among the J-K students and business community.
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday said that unless terrorism is eradicated, Pahalgam-like terrorist attacks will keep on occurring.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat underscored the importance of non-violence as a foundational element of Indian culture, but he also emphasised the necessity of addressing threats to society and the nation, stating that "teaching a lesson to hooligans is our religion."
Acting on the directions of the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Cabinet ministers from the Union Territory are reaching out to various state governments to meet the officials, government and migrant workers to ensure the safety and security of J-K residents working across India.
His remarks came after the April 22 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam in which 26 people were killed, after which India suspended the Indus Waters Treaty, leading Bhutto to resort to empty rhetoric.
