Security personnel have been deployed in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal for the third consecutive day on Wednesday after violence and ruckus ensued over an ASI survey.
The market in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal opened on Tuesday after violence following the stone pelting incident which took place when a team arrived to survey Shahi Jama Masjid on November 24.

The stone-pelting incident occurred when a team arrived at the Shahi Jama Masjid to conduct a fresh survey of the mosque. Locals allegedly pelted stones at security personnel and attacked the police force. The police used tear gas to control the situation.
