In a post on X, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated, "A tribute to the lasting legacy of Bapu. PM @chrisluxonmp of New Zealand paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat this morning."
"Warm welcome to FM Arzu Rana Deuba of Nepal as she arrives in New Delhi for Raisina Dialogue 2025," Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Randhir Jaiswal said in a post on X.
The officials discussed various key issues, including tourism cooperation, trade agreements, digital and maritime connectivity, health partnerships, and innovation and development. They also exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
Jaiswal said that PM Modi planted a Bael sapling in the garden, contributing to the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative alongwith Mauritius Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam.
Uttar Pradesh Minister Raghuraj Singh commented on Muslim Namaz practices during Holi, suggesting that Namaz should not interfere with Hindu festivals. Meanwhile, BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal emphasized the need for communal harmony.
Jaiswal talked about the warm welcome PM Modi received at the airport, and said that later in the day, he would address the Indian diaspora and would also hold a meeting with the President of Mauritius, Anerood Jugnauth.
"Everyone should celebrate Holi together...People from all religions should celebrate the festival properly, and everyone should also take care of the society..." Jaiswal told ANI.

In a weekly briefing, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that the agreement aims to strengthen and deepen India-US two-way trade in goods and services, increase market access, and reduce tariff and non-tariff barriers.
