External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held a conversation with British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly and appreciated his regards for the success of the G20 Summit going to be held in New Delhi.
External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar on Saturday congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on the successful launch of India’s first solar mission, Aditya -L1, calling it another feather in the space agency’s cap.
North Macedonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is also the chairperson for the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), while delivering his address said that his first visit to India “marks new chapter in political and economic cooperation”.
Speaking at an event at Delhi University, Jaishankar said the UN was formed in 1940 during the Second World War and had only 50 member countries at the time. However, the number of members now has increased by 4 times with about 200 countries as members, he added.

“At the BRICS summit, we were physically present there (South Africa), mentally we were in Bengaluru. We took a break in between the summit to see the live landing. That evening there was only one topic of conversation at the summit is Chandrayaan 3 landing,” Jaishankar said.<
