External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who is in Uganda to attend the 19th NAM Summit, met Prime Minister of Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, on the sidelines of the summit on Friday.
The 19th NAM Summit under Uganda's leadership is being held under the theme 'Deepening Cooperation for Shared Global Affluence' and brings together more than 120 developing countries on a platform of crucial historic significance.
Taking to X, EAM Jaishankar shared about the meeting saying, "Met Maldives FM @MoosaZameer today in Kampala. A frank conversation on India-Maldives ties. Also discussed NAM-related issues."
Maldivian foreign minister Moosa Zameer and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar exchanged views on the withdrawal of Indian military personnel on Thursday.
