He thanked Mauritius Foreign Minister Maneesh Gobin for warm welcome and stated that he looked forward to productive engagements to take forward the special relationship between the two nations.
"In India, we have a historical relationship with the people of Afghanistan. And this people-to-people connection is actually a foundation for our ties," Jaishankar said.
