Jaisalmer schools and Anganwadi centers have been ordered to shut down temporarily from July 29 to July 31 due to the Poonam Nagar school gate collapse incident.
A 9-year-old student died on Monday morning after the collapse of the main gate of a school, which was in a dilapidated condition at Poonam Nagar in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer on Monday, District Collector Pratap Singh Nathawat said.

The accused, identified as Shakur Khan, who served as an Assistant Administrative Officer in Jaisalmer, was charged with leaking strategic information to Pakistan's intelligence agency.
